I have developed new skills and a greater passion for teaching. Being able to cultivate a culture of lifelong learning in others, has always been my goal. UCA has afforded me the privilege of making this goal attainable. I love seeing the look of amazement on learners faces when they enter the Science Lab! These are just some of the things that make my job fulfilling.”

CRISIS RELIEF
SLUMS OF KOHALPUR, NEPAL

Extended lockdowns, due to Covid-19, has resulted in multiple day laborers losing employment. This loss of income has meant that people living in the slums of Kohalpur have not been able to purchase even basic supplies. Working with Shepherd's House, it was our privilege to donate much needed food supplies, as well as jackets and blankets to help them through the cold winter. It was reported that some of the community could not sleep due to their excitement and anticipation of new, warm clothes!
