  • TRAINING TEACHERS

    YUNNAN, CHINA

    Concordia Welfare Education Foundation (CWEF) doing amazing work enhancing education at 3 is preschools in Yunnan, China. They are engaging in professional development and support of teachers. After a training, one teacher remarked: “Very vivid! We have learned a lot of knowledge, and it will be a good improvement for our teaching.”

    CWEF also resources the schools with age-appropriate books and reading programs. We are very proud of their persevering and pioneering spirit!

  • NEW TOILETS

    MAZOWE, ZIMBABWE

    Qodesh Rama preschool has new toilets. This addition increases the sanitation and safety of this rural school. It is also a requirement needed to register with the Education Department. We appreciate all the logistics and organization that NDET did to make this happen.

  • CLINIC

    KELSO, SOUTH AFRICA

    What an amazing work Gathering Together is doing in Kelso Informal Settlement. It was our joy to fund the mobile clinic which is up and running and ensuring that that community have access to care at a venue near to them. Already conditions that had been misdiagnosed have received careful attention and the correct treatment. Being cared for with compassion and kindness is also bringing healing to the emotional needs in this often neglected settlement.

  • SCIENCE EQUIPMENT

    PANAY, PHILIPPINES

    Teacher Ron Sistorias is delighted with the arrival of the new science equipment for the science lab at Masa Ati School, Panay, Philippines. First Love International had to overcome multiple challenges including lockdowns, supply chain challenges and a typhoon to acquire the equipment. The equipped lab greatly raises the level of education and qualifies the school to teach Grades 11 and 12!

  • HOME RESTORED

    CLERMONT, SOUTH AFRICA

    A subtropical depression in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa caused torrential rain and mudslides destroying multiple homes and resulted in the tragic loss of over 450 lives. We are grateful to play our part by partnering with KwaCare in rebuilding the Kubheka’s home.This precious family is incredibly grateful for all the donations used to repair their home that was devastated by a mudslide.

  • HUMANITARIAN SUPPORT

    UKRAINE

    Heart 4 Orphans faced the tragic circumstance of leaving their homes and uprooting their families to go to either a safer area in the Ukraine or to neighboring countries, as refugees. We were able provide a little relief with funds for some food supplies, clothing, diapers, formula, fuel and to assist with accommodation costs. The situation is still very dire and we continue to carry them in our hearts.

  • FLOOD RELIEF

    BANATE, PHILIPPINES

    Tropical storm MEGI caused major damage and loss to both property and lives in the central and southern Philippines. We were so grateful to come alongside our partners Banate Baptist Church and bring some hope and relief to some families by providing food relief and financial assistance to repair damage to homes and businesses. We trust that this aid will help them be able to move forward. Our thanks to Ps Roger and Ruth Esclares who are doing a wonderful job in coming alongside these precious families.

  • CONSTRUCTION AND COOPS

    NYASTIME, ZIMBABWE

    TUACT finished constructing two hen coops and purchased layer and broiler hens. The projects are aimed at helping the Centre become more self-sustainable. A second classroom has also been added to the counseling center for pre-school and remedial classes. School furniture for the learners is a welcome addition to make learning more productive. We are pleased to support these pioneers.

  • HOPE COMMUNITY CLINIC

    LUSAKA, ZAMBIA

    Breath of Heaven has opened Hope Clinic to offer the community easily accessible and great medical care. We were privileged to do our part by supporting the cost of their IT installments. They have already passed their health inspection and we are excited to hear many stories of people’s lives receiving healing and hope.

  • EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT

    SOUTH AFRICA

    Our hope for the children at Kelso Informal Settlement is that the donated iPads will improve the literacy and numeracy of the creche children and help primary school kids to master these basic concepts and thereby improve their grades and their overall success. We are grateful to Gathering Together and their team of volunteers who are investing into the changing lives of these precious kids.

  • GENDER BASE VIOLENCE CAMPAIGN

    SOUTH AFRICA

    South Africa’s President, Cyril Ramaphosa, has labelled the GBV crisis as a “second pandemic”. Trulife has already developed a video series for primary and high schools covering topics such as abuse, gender equality, respect for each other’s bodies, human trafficking, and advocacy. We will be covering the costs of the roll out this program in 15 schools, in different areas in South Africa. We know that these materials are impactful, relevant and transformational!

  • IPADS FOR ONLINE LEARNING

    SOUTH AFRICA

    UCA is always innovating and creating opportunities for their scholars to grow and improve their education. We partnered with their parents and Abundant Grace International Fellowship to provide iPads that is already increasing the students exploratory learning and digital skills, and is growing into an online schooling platform to support the Cambridge International Assessment

  • SCHOOL BAGS & SUPPLIES

    NEPAL

    School bags, stationery and water filters for the children at three rural schools in Kohalpur, Nepal. The children, who mostly live in the slum communities were overjoyed to receive these wonderful gifts. We are so grateful to Shepherd’s House for caring for these kids.

  • ADDITIONAL CLASSROOM

    UMDONI, SOUTH AFRICA

    UCA, is always progressing. Over the holidays, they allowed no grass to grow under their feet, as they built a new classroom to enable each primary school class to have their own venue. This addition helps with the implementation of the Cambridge Curriculum throughout the entire school. We salute their principal, Jenny Page and her staff team for their vision and hard work in always endeavouring to raise the bar in education.

  • LIFE SKILLS VIDEOS

    UKRAINE

    Heart For Orphans (H4O) creates loving homes for orphans who have aged out of the government foster system. Educators from H4O in consultation with the house parents are developing a curriculum to help teens, some of whom are making life choices for the first time, equipping them on how how to choose wisely. So far 6 videos, in the Russian language, are completed. We are excited to continue to support the creation of more life impacting materials.
